Amber McConnachie joined Neal and Leroy, LLC in 2004. She works as an executive level legal assistant and paralegal with over 20 years of experience in areas of real estate, litigation, eminent domain, bankruptcy, corporate and zoning matters. Amber’s real estate experience encompasses property acquisition and disposition for municipal corporations. She has extensive litigation involvement in both residential and commercial areas, comprehensive experience in appellate court matters and trial practice and preparation. She assists with a variety of responsibilities related to complex case management, including assistance in drafting, and finalizing pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs as well as discovery management procedures.

  • Experienced in Lexis Advance legal research, ownership, title, court, and online real estate record searches. Performance of title review for purposes of securing lien releases.

  • Knowledge of bankruptcy protocols, software, and form schedule completion.

  • Formation and maintenance of corporate client entities necessitating management of pertinent forms such as articles of incorporation, annual reports, bylaws, and filings.

  • Preparation of numerous rezoning, variation, special use, and administrative adjustment applications.

  • Annual exemption report preparation and filing with assessor. Survey and sidwell map review, as well as tax overview research.

  • Preparation of litigation documents including pleadings and discovery, as well as knowledge of current court procedure protocols and heavy case management.
